Data Insight

Nine of the fourteen tracks carry only her name, the highest share in the catalogue, and she produces all of it herself. Strip an album back to voices and the credit list shrinks with it. The one track that is not hers is "Vökuró", an Icelandic art song by Jórunn Viðar and Jakobína Sigurðardóttir.

Medúlla came out on One Little Indian and Elektra in August 2004 and is made almost entirely from human voices. "Oceania" from it was commissioned for the 2004 Summer Olympics.
