Twelve of the thirteen tracks are hers and six carry nobody else. The exception is "Fagurt Er í Fjörðum", a traditional Icelandic song with words by the eighteenth-century poet Látra-Björg. Two tracks are written for her mother, and she produced all of it herself.

Fossora came out on One Little Independent in September 2022 and is her tenth solo album. It follows the death of her mother and sets a clarinet sextet against the Indonesian dance duo Gabber Modus Operandi.
