By the Numbers
EHXX carries over from Los Favoritos 2 and produces 10 of the 15 tracks, usually paired with Crivas and JH Beats. Reyven writes on 6 songs without producing any of them, which is unusual in a circle where the beatmaker normally holds the pen too. Arcángel is a credited writer on all 15, and on the opener "Flow Violento" his is the only name in the credit. JX "El Ingeniero" mixes the whole album, giving it a tighter sonic frame than the producer count suggests.
Arcángel followed Los Favoritos 2 eleven months later with a shorter sequel, 15 tracks on Rimas Entertainment and no co-billing. The guest list skews younger than the one before it, with Jay Wheeler, Brray, Tokischa, Kiko El Crazy and Elysanij set against veterans like Zion & Lennox, Nicky Jam and Tempo. It reached number 15 on Top Latin Albums, number 11 on Latin Rhythm Albums, and number 33 in Spain.
