Data Insight
Fifteen of the 25 tracks carry his name and ten of those carry nobody else. The other ten have no credit at all. It is the record where the paperwork starts breaking down: half of it is documented and half of it is not, on the same release.
Platinum Underground came out on Ultrax in 2005. It did not chart, and none of its singles registered a peak.

Frequently Asked Questions Platinum Underground
Who wrote Platinum Underground?
Vanilla Ice is credited on 15 of the 25 tracks and is the only writer on ten. The other ten carry no writing credit on the album article.
How did it chart?
It did not enter the Billboard 200 or any of the charts the discography tracks.
How did it sell?
The discography's certification column is blank for this album and no sales figure is published.
Did any single chart?
No. "Tha Weed Song" with Rahan registered no chart peak.
Why do ten tracks have no writer?
The album article's track listing leaves them blank, and no other source fills them in.
Are engineering credits published?
No engineering credits are published on the album article.
How long is the album?
64:06 across 25 tracks.
Data note: The album article leaves the writer field empty on the ten short closing tracks. Genius credits seven of them to Vanilla Ice, and those credits are carried here. Three still carry no writing credit anywhere: "Flyin' Hawaiian", "Joe" and "Penthouse". Their Genius pages list no writers, two Discogs pressings credit no one on them, and MusicBrainz attaches no work to their recordings. The short closing tracks are recorded voicemail messages, printed as such on the Genius pages for "Tank", "UFC" and "My Kids", and "Flyin' Hawaiian" (0:59) and "Joe" (0:09) sit in that same run. "Penthouse" runs 3:17 on Wikipedia and on both Discogs pressings, which is song length rather than voicemail length, so it is a composition whose writers are undocumented and the album stays unverified.
