Data Insight
The album credits all thirteen tracks to the same nine writers, Vanilla Ice among them, so nothing here distinguishes one song from another on paper. Ross Robinson, Casey Chaos of Amen, Scott Borland of Limp Bizkit and Shannon Larkin all sit on every track. It is the sound of a career being rebuilt by committee.
Hard to Swallow came out on Republic and Universal in October 1998, produced by Ross Robinson, who had made records for Korn and Slipknot. It reinvented him as a nu metal act.
