Data Insight

Highway Companion is a Tom Petty solo album on which he wrote all of the songs, including the single 'Saving Grace.' He produced it with Jeff Lynne and Mike Campbell, reuniting with Lynne, who had shaped Petty's earlier solo work and the Traveling Wilburys. The record leans on a spare, road-themed songwriting voice, and Petty played much of the instrumentation himself alongside Campbell. Sessions took place at Los Angeles studios in 2005 and 2006.

Tom Petty's third solo album, produced by Jeff Lynne. A mellow, reflective record recorded with just Petty and Lynne.
