Data Insight
Towers wrote on all 23 tracks under his legal name, Michael Anthony Torres Monge, and he did it with a fixed room rather than a rotating one. Anthony Edward Ralph Parrilla Medina, who works as Fara, is credited on every song. Orlando Jovani Cepeda Matos and Julio Emmanuel Batista Santos take 22 each, and Juan Jesús Santana Lugo 11. The beats work the other way round. Twenty-six producers split the record and none of them takes more than four tracks, with Sky Rompiendo at four and Fly Twilightzone, Cheo Legendary, David B. and Benjamin Lasnier at three apiece. Fara also runs the room as recording engineer on 22 songs, and EARCANDY holds a mixing credit on all 23, so what carries across the whole album is the writing chair and the mix rather than the beats.
La Vida Es Una is the third studio album by Puerto Rican rapper Myke Towers, released on 23 March 2023 through One World, Warner Latina and Warner. Twenty-three tracks run about 73 minutes and bring in Daddy Yankee, Ozuna, Chita, J Balvin and Arcángel across reggaeton, afrobeat, reggae and hip hop. It reached number 9 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart, 173 on the Billboard 200 and 4 in Spain. Track 22, "Lala", spread on TikTok that July and became the first Towers song to lead Billboard's Global Excl. U.S. chart, which is why it went out as a single four months after the album.

Frequently Asked Questions La Vida Es Una
Who are the guest artists on La Vida Es Una?
Five, across 23 tracks. Daddy Yankee on "Ulalá", Ozuna on "Conocerte", Chita on "Cama King", J Balvin on "Celos" and Arcángel on "Don & Tego". Towers carries the other 18 songs alone.
Why did "Lala" become a single months after the album came out?
It went out as track 22 in March 2023 and drew little attention at the time. In July a tongue-flicking clip set to the hook spread on TikTok, the song jumped into the Spotify top five in several countries, and a video with María Pedraza followed on 27 July, which marked its release as the album's third single. It reached number 3 on the Billboard Global 200 and number 1 in Spain.
How did La Vida Es Una chart?
Number 9 on Top Latin Albums, 5 on Latin Rhythm Albums, 173 on the Billboard 200 and 4 in Spain. It closed 2023 at number 40 on the year-end Top Latin Albums list and came back at 71 the following year.
Who produced most of La Vida Es Una?
Nobody dominates it. Sky Rompiendo has the most at four tracks, then Fly Twilightzone, Cheo Legendary, David B. and Benjamin Lasnier at three each. Tainy, Rvssian, Play-N-Skillz, Di Genius, Chalko and YannC El Armónico take one or two apiece, out of 26 credited producers.
Did the album win any awards?
It was nominated for Best Urban Album, Male at Premios Juventud in 2023, and for Best Latin Album at the LOS40 Music Awards the same year. The touring run behind it picked up a LOS40 nomination for Best Latin Tour, Festival or Concert the year after.
Data note: Neither English nor Spanish Wikipedia carries a credits table for this album, Discogs has no release for it, and the MusicBrainz release holds no artist or work relationships, so per-track writer and producer credits come from the Genius song pages. The Spanish Wikipedia track listing gives an independent producer column that agrees with Genius on 21 of 23 tracks; the two differ on "No Salgo" and "Lo Logré", where Spanish Wikipedia swaps Pilfinger and lovelife. Genius is used for both, because it also lists Pilfinger among the writers of "No Salgo" and lovelife among the writers of "Lo Logré". Composer entries carry legal names from MusicBrainz legal-name aliases, Genius artist alternate names and the author credits on the Spanish Wikipedia article for "Lala". SIGGY, Makalo and lovelife write under names with no legal name on any source checked, so they stay in lyricists only.
