Data Insight
Ape Drums arrives in the credits here, on three tracks, the first new member to write anything since Switch left nine years earlier. Diplo is on all twelve as usual. Nothing from the album reached the Billboard Hot 100, which makes it the quietest record in the catalogue commercially.
Music Is the Weapon came out in October 2020 on Mad Decent after five years of singles. Twelve tracks in 33:55, leaning into Afrobeats with Nigerian and Jamaican vocalists across the record.
