Data Insight
Switch is still credited on six of the fourteen tracks from sessions before he left, and Diplo is on all fourteen. Nothing here carries only members: every song has a vocalist with a writing credit, which is the shape the group keeps for the rest of its career. Bruno Mars, Santigold, Shaggy, Peaches and Pharrell Williams all appear.
Free the Universe came out in April 2013 on Secretly Canadian, the first album after Switch left. It reached number 34 on the Billboard 200, has sold 48,000 in the US, and runs 57:05, the longest record they have made.
