By the Numbers
Gael Leonardo Iñiguez Valenzuela is credited on seven of the 17 songs, the lead single "Y Lloro" among them, which makes him the most-used writer on the album after Junior H. Junior H handles most of the rest on his own, so a record sold on private heartbreak splits its writing close to down the middle between the singer and an outside bench of Daniel Candia, Jorge Jiménez Sanchez and Gabriel Ballesteros Abril. Production never moves. Junior H, Ernesto Fernández and Jimmy Humilde are credited together on every track, and those same three names handle the mix and the master.
Junior H lined up guest spots from Peso Pluma and Natanael Cano for this sequel to $ad Boyz 4 Life, but the features never came together and he ended up carrying all 17 tracks himself. He later called the album more of an accident than a plan. The songs run urban sierreño through pop rock and ranchera, with "Otro Amor" and "Miles de Rosas" leaning toward a dreamier sound than the corridos that made his name. It entered the Billboard 200 at number 14 with 32,000 album-equivalent units, his highest debut, and reached number 2 on Top Latin Albums.
