Data Insight

Farruko is credited as a writer on all fourteen tracks and never as the only one, since every song carries at least one other name beside his. The steadiest of those is Opi The Hit Machine, a co-writer on five songs who produces none of them, which makes him the closest thing the record has to a second voice in the room. The board behind him is the opposite of settled: sixteen producers share fourteen tracks, and only Echo, Jumbo, Lil Wizard, Aneudy Maysonet and O'Neill take more than one. Kendo Kaponi writes on "Chulería En Pote" and "Te Iré A Buscar" without performing on either.

Farruko's debut arrived on 29 June 2010 on Siente Music, with Universal Music Latino handling distribution and Salvador Morales running the sessions as executive producer. Fourteen tracks run from reggaeton and dancehall into bachata and balada, with guest turns from Cosculluela, Yaga & Mackie, Arcángel, Voltio and Jadiel. The song that travelled furthest outside the genre was "Su Hija Me Gusta", a duet with José Feliciano. The album reached 50 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart and 6 on Latin Rhythm Albums.

It reached 50 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart and 6 on Latin Rhythm Albums. None of the songs taken from it reached a Billboard singles chart.
Who is the guest on "Su Hija Me Gusta"?
José Feliciano, the Puerto Rican singer and guitarist, sings on it and takes a writing credit alongside Farruko, Aneudy Maysonet and O'Neill. Aneudy Maysonet, Florence Torres and O'Neill produced it.
Who produced El Talento del Bloque?
Sixteen producers share the fourteen tracks. Echo and Ladkani open the record, Jumbo, Lil Wizard, Aneudy Maysonet and O'Neill each take more than one, and DJ Urba, Rome LMN, Phantom, Duran The Coach, Alex Gárgolas, Young Hollywood, Los Metalicoz, Keko Musik, Luny Tunes and Florence Torres fill in the rest.
Which label put out El Talento del Bloque?
Farruko's discography lists Universal Music Latino. The CD itself carries the Siente Music imprint with Universal Music Latino on the copyright lines and Universal Music Distribution handling the discs.
Data note: Set to unverified because the per-track writer credits rest on Genius alone. Both Discogs pressings, the US CD and the Mexican one, carry producer, mixing and mastering credits at album level but no Written-By credits at any level, and every MusicBrainz recording on the release returns an empty relations array, so there is no second source to check the writing against. Producers and performers are corroborated: the Spanish Wikipedia track table and the Genius song pages agree track for track on who made each beat, and Discogs and MusicBrainz agree on the guests. Several writers are credited only under a stage name with no legal name published on Genius, MusicBrainz or Discogs, so they appear as lyricists and not as composers: Opi The Hit Machine, Echo, Ladkani, Lil Wizard, Keko Musik, O'Neill, Gaby Metálico and Lele "El Arma Secreta". Genius lists Delirious as a featured artist on "Casa De Playa"; both Discogs pressings, MusicBrainz and the Spanish Wikipedia track table all show that song as a solo Farruko performance, so no guest is recorded for it here. Track 10 is "Muchachita Bonita" on both Discogs pressings, on MusicBrainz and on Genius; the Spanish Wikipedia table prints it as "Muchacha bonita".
