By the Numbers
Full Circle is Creed's reunion album, fully self-written and bringing back the classic lineup including returning bassist Brian Marshall. Written by Scott Stapp and Mark Tremonti, it produced the rock single "Overcome" and was produced by Howard Benson. The album is entirely the band's own work, marking their comeback after a mid-decade breakup.
Creed split in June 2004 and stayed apart for five years. Full Circle put the original four back together, Brian Marshall included for the first time since he left in 2000, and swapped longtime producer John Kurzweg for Howard Benson, who recorded it at Bay 7 in Valley Village and Sparky Dark in Calabasas. Mark Tremonti steps out from behind the guitar to take co-lead vocals on 'A Thousand Faces' and 'Away in Silence.' The album was finished at the end of July 2009, released that October with a bonus DVD on the two-disc edition, and debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 on 111,000 copies in its first week.
