By the Numbers
Coldplay again credit every song on Moon Music collectively to Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion, the band's consistent convention. Production continued the partnership with Max Martin alongside Bill Rahko, Dan Green and Michael Ilbert, with further work from Jon Hopkins, Oscar Holter, Ilya Salmanzadeh and The Chainsmokers. The album leans on international guests, most prominently 'We Pray' featuring Little Simz, Burna Boy, Elyanna and Tini, plus Ayra Starr on 'Good Feelings' and Jon Hopkins as a featured co-writer.
Moon Music, released October 4, 2024, is Coldplay's tenth studio album. Produced primarily by Max Martin and Oscar Holter, it was recorded with sustainability as a guiding principle, with physical copies pressed on eco-vinyl made partly from recycled plastic bottles. The album features the singles 'feelslikeimfallinginlove,' 'All My Love,' and 'We Pray,' the last a gospel-inflected track featuring numerous guest vocalists.
