By the Numbers
Layne Staley's share rises to seven tracks here and Cantrell is on eleven of the thirteen. Two tracks are Staley's without Cantrell, the only album where that happens more than once. It is the record about addiction that the band made while it was happening.
Dirt came out on Columbia in September 1992 and is certified 5x platinum, the band's best selling album. "Would?", "Rooster" and "Down in a Hole" all came off it.
