By the Numbers
Zedd produced and mixed Telos, pairing his electronic production with an eclectic set of guest collaborators and co-writers. Remi Wolf sang 'Lucky,' John Mayer played and featured on 'Automatic Yes,' and Muse appeared on closer '1685,' while Grey, Ellis, and Mesto contributed as production collaborators. Jeremy Kittel arranged strings across the record, and the project keeps Zedd's pattern of building the music and bringing in outside vocalists and instrumentalists to complete each song.
Zedd's third studio album, released August 30, 2024 on Interscope Records. A more eclectic and cinematic project than his earlier work, Telos features 10 tracks with collaborators including Bea Miller, John Mayer, Muse, Remi Wolf, Dora Jar, and Grey. The album includes a posthumous collaboration with Jeff Buckley on a rework of 'Dream Brother' and interpolates Johann Sebastian Bach's Prelude in C major (BWV 846) on the closing track '1685' featuring Muse.
