Coming Home is Usher's ninth studio album, released February 23, 2024 through mega/RCA Records, twelve days after his celebrated Super Bowl LVIII halftime performance in Las Vegas. The album serves as a homecoming to Usher's Atlanta R&B roots after years of dance-oriented work, drawing on the classic Jermaine Dupri collaboration style that defined Confessions and 8701. Lead single 'Good Good' with 21 Savage and Summer Walker became a top-five hit, while 'Boyfriend' featuring Lil Durk and Latto targeted a younger urban audience. 'GLU (Girlfriend Like U)' and 'Risk It' featuring H.E.R. further showcase Usher's co-writing contributions across the set. Usher co-wrote a significant portion of the album, maintaining the active songwriting role he has held since Confessions, his celebrated 2004 LP.
