The closed writing room opens here. Seven of the ten tracks are still the three members alone, but "Rushmere", "Anchor" and "Surrender" bring in Natalie Hemby, Greg Kurstin, Justin Hayward-Young and Caitlyn Smith. Those are the first outside names on a Mumford & Sons album in sixteen years.
Rushmere came out in March 2025, the first album as a three-piece and the first the band co-produced, with Dave Cobb. It went to number one in the UK on 35,655 units and runs 34:18, the shortest record they have made.
