Vultures 1 is the debut collaborative studio album by Ye (Kanye West) and Ty Dolla $ign under the joint project name ¥$/YZY, released February 10, 2024 through West Corporation and Def Jam Recordings. The album follows the controversial and self-distributed Donda 2 (2022) and represents Kanye's first widely distributed release since Donda (2021). Sampling dense, maximalist production from Kanye and collaborators including Mike Dean and Ojivolta, Vultures 1 features a sprawling cast of guests including Playboi Carti, Travis Scott, Rich The Kid, Lil Durk, and Freddie Gibbs. 'Carnival' and 'Vultures' became the album's most-streamed tracks, with the former sampling a classic soul loop in Kanye's signature style. Kanye co-wrote every lyrical contribution on the album alongside Ty Dolla $ign, maintaining his near-complete authorship score across a discography stretching back to The College Dropout.
