'Baby' (featuring Ludacris) became one of the most viewed YouTube videos in history at the time of release, spending 12 weeks in the top five on the Billboard Hot 100 and becoming one of the best-selling singles of 2010 despite the divisive online reaction. My World 2.0 has been certified six-times platinum in the United States and reached number one on the Billboard 200 in its first week; the YouTube-to-Billboard commercial arc was one of the earliest and most extensively documented examples of social media-driven artist development.
