Data Insight

All twelve tracks credit members, and this is the first album where Mark Wilson appears in the writer column, on "Times Like This" and "Start the Show", making it the only Jet record with all four members writing. The band self-produced with Chris Smith, and the credits show a group working as a unit right before it stopped.

Shaka Rock is Jet's third and last album, released in August 2009 on Real Horrorshow and Five Seven with Chris "Frenchie" Smith producing. It reached number five in Australia and is certified platinum there. The band split three years later.
