Data Insight

All thirteen tracks are written inside the band, mostly by Nic Cester with his brother Chris or with Cameron Muncey. There is no outside writer and no producer credited in the writing column, which is unusual for a debut that sold this well: nobody was brought in to shape it.

Get Born is Jet's debut, released in September 2003 on Elektra and Capitol. It topped the Australian chart, reached the top 20 in the UK and the top 30 in the US, and sold four million copies worldwide. "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" made it, and the album won in six categories at the ARIA Music Awards of 2004.
