Cracker Island narrows the guest list and tightens the writing: Damon Albarn co-writes the album with producer Greg Kurstin, adding the featured artist on the songs that have one, like Thundercat, Stevie Nicks, Tame Impala and Bad Bunny. Cracker Island is the eighth studio album by Gorillaz, released in February 2023 and the band's most polished, pop-forward record. The album reached number two in the UK and continued the band's run of high-profile collaborative records.
