By the Numbers
The two tracks Badu writes alone are the intro and the outro, both called "World Keeps Turnin'", and between them sit eight songs she shares with James Poyser and Rashad Smith. Two are not hers at all: a Donald Byrd tune and "The Grind", which belongs to Dead Prez. Ten tracks stretched across 54 minutes gives the record the feel of a band jamming, and the credits read that way too.
