Data Insight

Five of the nine tracks bring in co-writers, the first time that has happened on a Dashboard Confessional album. Carrabba is still on all nine, but after eighteen years of writing alone he is suddenly sharing more than half a record.

Crooked Shadows came out on Fueled by Ramen in February 2018, nine years after Alter the Ending, and is the shortest album in the catalogue.
