Data Insight
Riley writes on fourteen of the nineteen tracks and Hannibal on eleven, the closest the two founders ever come to an even split. Dave Hollister has gone and Mark Middleton and Eric Williams have arrived, so a completely different vocal group is singing songs written by the same two people.
Another Level came out in September 1996 and is the group's biggest record, selling over 4 million in the United States and reaching number three on the Billboard 200. "No Diggity" topped the Hot 100.

Frequently Asked Questions Another Level
Who wrote Another Level?
Teddy Riley on fourteen of the nineteen tracks and Chauncey Hannibal on eleven.
Who wrote "No Diggity"?
Riley with his co-writers, alongside Dr. Dre and Queen Pen who feature on it. It reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
How did the album sell?
It sold over 4 million in the United States and is certified 4x platinum by the RIAA.
How did it chart?
Number three on the Billboard 200 and number one on the Top R&B Albums chart, where it stayed five weeks.
Which other single charted?
"Fix", with Ol' Dirty Bastard, Slash and Fishbone, reached number 58 on the Hot 100.
Who engineered it?
Serban Ghenea, John Hanes and George Meyers, with Herb Powers mastering.
Why does one track have no writer?
Track 14, "Blackstreet (On the Radio)", is a radio-drop interlude and the album article publishes no writer for it.
Data note: "Blackstreet (On the Radio)" has no documented writer. It is a radio interview with Morris Baxter rather than a song: the album article leaves its writer cell blank and the 1996 Interscope pressing on Discogs lists no Written-By for it. Genius names only the group, which is an artist attribution rather than a songwriting credit.
