By the Numbers
After the entirely solo Under Rug Swept, Morissette brought in John Shanks and Tim Thorney as co-writers and co-producers on much of So-Called Chaos. The writing is split: several songs are collaborations, while the lead single "Everything" is hers alone. The result is her most radio-friendly album since the 1990s.
Morissette's sixth studio album, a return to collaborative songwriting after Under Rug Swept. A more accessible pop-rock record that marked a partial step back toward the Jagged Little Pill sound.
