Just Be widens Tiësto's vocal palette while keeping his producer role at the center: he wrote and produced the music throughout, often with Geert Huinink and Daniël Stewart, and the album's words come from the featured singers and writers like BT, Matt Hales, and Kirsty Hawkshaw. The instrumental tracks 'Traffic' and 'Nyana' carry no lyricist at all, the clearest signs of his roots, while the closing 'Adagio for Strings' is a rework of a Samuel Barber composition he did not write.
Just Be is the second studio album by Tiësto, released in 2004 at the height of his run as the world's number one DJ. It pushes his trance sound toward bigger melodies and more vocal collaborations, anchored by the instrumental hit 'Traffic', the first instrumental to top the Dutch chart in over two decades, and the BT collaboration 'Love Comes Again'.
