Eighteen of the nineteen tracks credit T-Pain under his legal name, Faheem Najm. The one that does not is "U Got Me", written by Aliaune Thiam, the label owner who signed him and records as Akon. Where extra names appear beside his they are sample clearances, so "Tallahassee Love" carries Roger and Larry Troutman for the Zapp material it borrows.

Rappa Ternt Sanga is T-Pain's debut, released in December 2005 through Akon's Konvict Muzik and Jive Records.
