Williams writes and produces all sixteen tracks. The only other names on the credits belong to the guests, each writing their own verse, so the record works as a series of features hung on a frame he built alone. He later described the album as rushed, but the authorship pattern here is the same one Girl repeats eight years later.
In My Mind is Pharrell Williams's debut solo studio album, released on 25 July 2006 through Star Trak and Interscope. Sixteen tracks with a long guest list: JAY-Z, Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, Gwen Stefani, Nelly, Pusha T, Slim Thug, Charlie Wilson and Jamie Cullum. It reached number 3 on the Billboard 200 and sold 406,000 copies in the US.
