Data Insight
RZA writes on 13 of the 15 tracks and produces most of them, so the record sits inside the Wu-Tang sound rather than beside it. Five tracks carry only Jones, more than the other two albums put together. Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah and Killah Priest all take a verse.
Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version came out on Elektra in March 1995, the third Wu-Tang solo album, and reached number seven on the Billboard 200. It is certified platinum and was nominated for Best Rap Album at the Grammy Awards in 1996.
