By the Numbers
We Don't Trust You is a pure producer-rapper division of labor: Metro Boomin produced every track and his legal name, Leland Wayne, appears among the composers throughout, while Future and the guests wrote the lyrics they rap and sing. Metro also mixed the record. On most tracks the writing pool is just Future and Metro, which keeps the composer lists short except where samples, like the 'So Appalled'-adjacent interpolations and the 'Smiling Faces Sometimes' sample on the title track, add the original songwriters.
We Don't Trust You is a collaborative studio album by Future and Metro Boomin, released in March 2024 and credited jointly to the rapper and the producer.
