Joytime II is the second studio album by Marshmello, released in June 2018 on Joytime Collective and self-produced by Marshmello. The album arrived at the height of Marshmello's commercial momentum, following the enormous success of the crossover single 'Silence' with Khalid and his subsequent collaborations with Anne-Marie, Logic, and Bastille. The record expanded on the buoyant future bass and pop-EDM sound of his debut while incorporating more sophisticated production and vocal performances. Tracks like 'Here with Me' and 'I Can Breathe' demonstrated a growing emotional range alongside the pure energy anthems that had made him famous. Joytime II cemented Marshmello's position as one of electronic music's most reliably crowd-pleasing artists and one of its most commercially successful streaming presences.
