By the Numbers
All ten tracks are the band's, with Christian Olde Wolbers now on the music credit alongside Cazares and Herrera. Eight carry nobody else. It is the record that sold most and the last with the original four-piece writing together.
Obsolete came out on Roadrunner in July 1998 and has sold 406,247 in the United States, their biggest album. "Edgecrusher" and a cover of Gary Numan's "Cars" both came off it.
