Vivir keeps the debut's split authorship: Enrique Iglesias wrote or co-wrote several tracks, often with Roberto Morales, while producer Rafael Perez-Botija and writing partner Maria Enriqueta Ramos Nunez supplied the rest. The Spanish adaptation of Yazoo's 'Only You' as 'Solo En Ti' is the clearest outside song, with Iglesias credited only for the Spanish lyric over Vince Clarke's original.
Vivir is the second studio album by Enrique Iglesias, released in 1997 on Fonovisa and again produced by Rafael Perez-Botija. Building on the romantic pop of his debut, it broadened his sound while keeping the ballad-driven core that made him a Latin star. Iglesias wrote or co-wrote several tracks, including the hit 'Enamorado Por Primera Vez,' while Perez-Botija and his frequent writing partner Maria Enriqueta Ramos Nunez supplied much of the rest. The album included a Spanish adaptation of Yazoo's 'Only You' as 'Solo En Ti.' A major commercial success, Vivir confirmed his standing as one of the leading voices of Latin pop and launched a world tour.
