All eleven tracks are the five of them with Sergio Vega in Chi Cheng's place, and nobody from outside. They had already finished a different record, Eros, and set it aside after the crash; this is what they wrote instead, and it is credited exactly the way everything before it was.
Diamond Eyes came out on Reprise in May 2010 and is certified gold. It was made after Chi Cheng's car crash, with Sergio Vega playing bass, and replaced a finished album the band shelved.
