Data Insight
while(1<2) is a 25-track, two-disc set that Joel Zimmerman produced from start to finish. He wrote 23 of the tracks; the exceptions are his remixes of 'Ice Age' (written by Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross, and Mariqueen Reznor) and 'Survivalism' (written by Trent Reznor). The one guest writer on his own material is Colleen D'Agostino, who co-wrote and sings 'Seeya.' The album peaked at number 9 on the Billboard 200.
while(1<2) is deadmau5's seventh studio album, released June 2014. A two-disc set of 25 tracks, with a continuous mix of each disc as a digital bonus, it is his most ambitious studio work and covers a wide range of electronic sub-genres including progressive house, techno, ambient, and orchestral-influenced electronic music. Nearly all tracks are fully instrumental, with rare vocal features. Joel Zimmerman produced every track and wrote all but two, his remixes of 'Ice Age' and 'Survivalism,' which were written by Trent Reznor and his collaborators.
