By the Numbers
The credit list is three people and almost nothing else. Charli writes all eleven tracks, A. G. Cook is on nine and Finn Keane on ten, and the two of them produce and mix the whole record between them. After Brat, where she pulled in a dozen outside writers, this is a deliberate narrowing: no feature writers, no guest producers, and the only outside voice anywhere is David Cronenberg speaking on the closer.
Music, Fashion, Film is Charli XCX’s seventh studio album, released on July 24, 2026 through Atlantic. Recorded at Rue Boyer in Paris, it runs eleven tracks in just over thirty minutes, the shortest album of her career. A. G. Cook and Finn Keane produced all of it and co-wrote most of it. The closing track, “No One Lasts Forever”, features the film director David Cronenberg on vocals.
