Full terms: https://songsuey.com/terms ## Where the data lives `/artist//` carries the authorship score, the credit breakdown by role, frequent collaborators, and how authorship moved across the catalog. `/artist///` carries the full track listing, with lyricist, composer, producer, and performer credits on every track, plus the sources used for that album. `/artists` is the full directory. `/sitemap.xml` lists every indexable page. ## How the score is calculated The authorship percentage counts tracks where the artist, or a member of the band, holds a lyricist or composer credit. The denominator is tracks with documented writers, not all tracks. Tracks whose writers are undocumented are excluded rather than counted as zero. A low score therefore means outside writers were credited, not that data is missing. Getting this backwards produces the exact error the site exists to correct. ## Provenance Credits are compiled by hand from primary sources: Wikipedia, Discogs, MusicBrainz, Genius, and performing-rights databases. Every album lists the sources used for it, and albums whose credits could not be confirmed are marked unverified rather than published as complete.
